Bikes Trips:

I will list here any interesting Bike Trip/Adventure articles that I've found on the internet.

 Lois on the Loose

"On April 30th 2003 I left behind the comforts of my cosy houseboat in London and my job at the BBC to motorcycle the length of the Americas on my Yamaha XT225 Serow. My route took me from Anchorage, Alaska to Ushuaia at the tip of Argentina, the most southerly place in the world that can be reached by road."

I started reading her bike Trip in TBM Magazine and searched Google and found that she has a website with the whole article written-up on (with some pictures).

Across Iceland on a XT225 Serow British guy takes his Yamaha XT225 Serow to Iceland for 1,050 miles of trail riding through the heart of the country.
1978 Moped Trip Canadian guy wrote a website about his 11,500 mile journey he took (back in 1978) across Canada on a brand new Mobylette moped (50cc!!) which took him 3 months to complete. Includes over 300 photo's of journey.

Useful pages if you plan to do your Motorcycle test:

http://www.dsa.gov.uk/index.asp

http://www.direct.gov.uk/Motoring/LearnerAndNewDrivers/PracticalTest/PracticalTestArticles/

http://www.begin-motorcycling.co.uk/tests.htm

http://www.begin-motorcycling.co.uk/tests_sc.htm - Motorcycle Questions asked at the beginning of the practical test. (Only two questions are asked).

http://www.begin-motorcycling.co.uk/pillion.htm - Question about carrying a Pillion Passenger asked at end of the practical test.

You MUST learn the motorcycle questions mentioned in the above websites as they are asked during the Practical bike test, and failure of knowing these questions could result in failure of bike test.

http://www.theory-tests.co.uk/home/ - Practice your Theory Test online with Mock Tests.

- Very useful website with Mock Theory Tests and "Interactive Hazard Perception Practice Clips". (For £8.21 they'll give you 30 days access to 22 Hazard Perception Practice Clips). I reckon this Website is well worth looking at before you do the Theory Test.

Interesting website containing lots of Weird & Wonderful inventions and discoveries.

A lot of the information on KeelyNet is definitely "a bit of an eye opener".
